High mountains and peaks of karst formations expand over an area of 646 sq km. This natural wonder declared as Biosphere Reserve and Natural Park is a must for anyone who visits Asturias. In this odd landscape you can find many little picturesque mountain villages, where you can enjoy their gastronomy and the hospitality of its inhabitants. Furthermore, inside the Natural Park you can also find the Lakes of Covadonga and the Peak of Torrecerredo, the highest of Picos de Europa.

The International Cultural Centre Oscar Niemeyer, or Niemeyer Centre, is the only work in Spain designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. It is one of the cultural referents and tourists attractions of Asturias. All kind of activities and business, cultural and social events take place in its five spaces. It is located less than half an hour by car from the hotel.
